Privacy Policy
How we handle test submissions, sessions, cookies, analytics, and ads. Clear answers, no jargon.
1. INTRODUCTION AND DATA CONTROLLER
ColorPersonalityTest.net (hereinafter referred to as "the Service," "we," "us," or "our") is a color personality assessment website operated by Nonstop Corporation. This Privacy Policy governs your use of colorpersonalitytest.net and all associated tools, including our color personality test and related features.
By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
Data Controller: Nonstop Corporation. For privacy-related inquiries, use the details in Section 10 (Contact Us).
Our terms of service and disclaimer explain site rules and how to interpret the test; they work together with this policy.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
2.1 Log Data
When you access the Service, our servers automatically collect certain technical information ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device type
- Pages visited within our Service, including our color personality test and related pages
- Time and date of your visit
- Time spent on each page
- Referring URL (the website that directed you to our Service)
- Screen resolution and device identifiers
This information is used to analyze usage trends, maintain site performance, and security. How long our servers retain raw log files depends on our hosting configuration and is separate from analytics retention described below.
2.2 Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use ColorPersonalityTest.net (for example, which pages are viewed, approximate geography, device type, and how people move through the site).
Google may collect information such as your IP address (which may be truncated or processed depending on Google's settings and region), browser and device characteristics, and interactions with our pages. Google uses this data to provide us with aggregated statistics. We do not use Google Analytics to collect your individual test answers; those are handled as described in Section 2.3.
For how Google processes data in Google Analytics, see Google's Privacy Policy and Google Analytics Terms of Service. You can learn about GA4 data retention, cookies, and privacy controls in Google's documentation and manage some Google-related choices through your browser's cookie settings and, where applicable, your Google Account.
2.3 Test Responses and Assessment Data
When you finish the assessment, your answer choices are sent to our servers over HTTPS so we can calculate your color scores and personality type. We do not maintain a database of individual question responses tied to your name, email, or account (we do not require an account to take the test). We store only a summarized result (for example, dominant color, percentages, and archetype) in a server-side session so you can open your personalized results page. That session data ends when the session expires or you close your browser, depending on server and browser behavior.
We do not use your answer choices to build a marketing profile or to sell response data. Standard server logs, Google Analytics (Section 2.2), and third-party tools described in this policy (such as Log Data and advertising cookies) may still record that you visited certain pages or general technical data; they are not used to reconstruct a permanent record of each answer you selected.
2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device that help us:
- Understand how you interact with our Service (including through Google Analytics and similar technologies)
- Improve our tools based on usage patterns
- Deliver relevant advertisements through our advertising partners
You can control cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the Service.
Session cookie: To keep your summarized test result available on the results page during your visit, our server may set a session cookie that stores a random session identifier (not your name or individual answers) and typically ends when your browser session ends or the server session expires.
2.5 Contact form and Google reCAPTCHA
If you use our contact form (Section 10), we collect the information you submit: name, email address, inquiry type, subject, and message. We use this information only to read and respond to your request. Messages are sent to our team using standard email (SMTP); transmission may involve our hosting and email providers according to their technical role as processors.
The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and abuse. When you interact with reCAPTCHA, Google may collect and process data (such as device and usage signals) according to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We receive a verification result from Google; we do not control Google's processing beyond choosing to use this service.
3. GOOGLE ADSENSE AND THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING
The Service uses Google AdSense, a third-party advertising network operated by Google LLC, to display advertisements. This section explains how advertising data is collected and used. Depending on your region, Google may show its own consent or personalization choices as part of how ads are served.
3.1 Google's Advertising Cookies
When you view ads on ColorPersonalityTest.net, Google and its third-party advertising partners may set cookies and similar technologies on your device. These cookies enable Google to deliver and measure ads, and (where consent allows) to personalize ads based on your prior visits to our Service and other sites on the internet. A full description of how these cookies work is available in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
3.2 Personalized Advertising and EU/UK/Swiss Consent
Where you have consented (or where consent is not required by your local law), third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve interest-based ads on our Service. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) to ask whether you consent to advertising and measurement cookies before they are set. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the privacy controls displayed on the page.
3.3 Opting Out of Personalized Advertising
You may opt out of or manage personalized advertising at any time by visiting:
- Google My Ad Center: https://myadcenter.google.com/
- Network Advertising Initiative: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/
- Digital Advertising Alliance (USA): https://optout.aboutads.info/
- Your Online Choices (EU/UK): https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/
3.4 Third-Party Disclaimer
We do not control the content of the relevant advertisements or the cookies placed by third-party advertisers. Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to display advertisements and links that appear on ColorPersonalityTest.net. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used by third-party ad networks to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see.
ColorPersonalityTest.net has no access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information on their practices.
4. SPECIAL NOTICE TO PARENTS AND GUARDIANS (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires that online service providers obtain parental consent before knowingly collecting personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. This section addresses our compliance with COPPA.
4.1 Age Restrictions
ColorPersonalityTest.net is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.
4.2 How Our Tools Handle Minor Users
We recognize that our color personality test may attract younger users. We have designed our Service with the following safeguards:
- No Account Creation Required: Users of any age can access our tools without creating an account or providing any personal information.
- No Long-Term Storage of Answers: When any user (including minors) takes our color personality test, answer choices are sent to our servers only to compute a result. We do not keep individual question responses in a database. A summarized result may be held in a server session until that session ends.
- No Personal Data Collection: We do not ask users for names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information to use our core assessment features.
- Session-Based Results: Scoring runs on our servers when you submit the test. Only the summary result needed to show your profile is kept in session storage for that visit, not a permanent copy of every answer.
4.3 Parental Rights
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under 13 has provided personal information to us (for example, through our contact form), please contact us immediately as described in Section 10 (Contact Us). We will take steps to remove that information from our systems.
Parents have the right to:
- Review any personal information we may have collected from their child
- Request deletion of such information
- Refuse to allow any further collection or use of their child's information
4.4 Contact Form Disclaimer
Our contact form collects the fields described in Section 2.5 (including name, email, and message). The form uses Google reCAPTCHA as explained there. Children under 13 should not submit information through our contact form without parental consent. If we discover that a child under 13 has submitted personal information through the contact form, we will delete such information promptly.

The personal information we collect is used solely for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including operating our Service and displaying relevant advertisements through Google AdSense.
6. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

- Secure Hosting: Our website is hosted on secure servers with regular security updates and monitoring.

No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we endeavor to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this service cannot be guaranteed.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
Material Changes: If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy that affect your rights or how we handle your personal data, we will provide prominent notice on our website prior to the change becoming effective.
Your continued use of the Service after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.
We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside India and choose to provide information to us (for example, through our contact form), please note that any submitted data may be transferred to and processed in India, where the site operator is based. Your use of the Service and submission of any information represents your agreement to that transfer.

TECHNICAL STATEMENT: DATA PROCESSING
Below is a short summary of how our color personality test processes user responses:
Your answer choices are transmitted to our servers over HTTPS when you complete the test. Scoring and type assignment run on the server. We do not maintain a database of each user's individual question responses. A summarized result is stored in a server-side session so the results page can load. The browser also displays your outcome in the interface. We do not use response data for ad targeting or sale. Aggregate usage and technical logs may be processed as described in Sections 2.1, 2.2, and 3 of this policy.
